S355JR Carbon Steel Plate

S355JR steel plate is a kind of low-alloy high-strength structural steel, with a yield strength of ≥ 355 MPa and a tensile strength ranging from 470 MPa to 630 MPa. It features good toughness at room temperature, excellent weldability, and easy cold/hot forming performance, as well as high cost-effectiveness. However, its corrosion resistance is moderate, thus surface treatment is required to improve its weather resistance.

It is widely used in engineering machinery, steel structure buildings and bridges, heavy-duty vehicles, maritime containers and storage equipment. Besides, it can also be fabricated into low-pressure pipe supports and load-bearing components of general machinery.
